About me

As a little boy, I was endlessly interested in the world around me and creating my own worlds on paper. I  am particularly fascinated by the indigenous people, the natural connection and the animals. I have Sami roots. Lapland and in particular wild animals are close to my heart. You can see the source of my inspiration in the way I work. I prefer organic and living brushstrokes. I give space to chance, but I guide the implementation of the painting with a clear vision.

When looking at a work of art, a person subconsciously seeks to reach the same emotional state as the artist was in when creating the painting. The viewer notices the concentration of brush strokes, relaxation, and color scheme. I try to paint when I want to create, when I want to meditate, surprise, live, evolve, share and create harmony. Making a work of art is a rewarding journey with its many bends and surprises. At the end of the rewarding journey itself, the end result is a finished work of art. A work that reminds me and the viewer of that journey. That journey cannot be described in words. It must be seen and experienced.
